Lucas played and lost in Indian Wells and Miami against the same american player : Donald Young. In California, after a 3 sets battle he gave everything he could but it was not enough. In Miami, Lucas was sick and was not able to play correctly. He decided not to retire and to do his best to stay in the match but it was just an impossible mission due to his stomachache.
