Davis Cup – France vs Great Britain

Lucas won the opening match of the quarterfinals against Kyle Edmund. It was a tough battle (especially in the second set where he had to fight back from 2-5 in the tie breaker) but Lucas assumed his number 1 status in the French team to defeat the powerful briton in straight sets. Jérémy Chardy and Julien Benneteau / Nicolas Mahut in doubles gave the 2 other points to qualify the team for the semi-finals. They will play Serbia in France in September.
