Monte Carlo Rolex Masters

Lucas did very great to reach his 3rd semi-final of the year and his 2nd Masters 1000 semi-final in career. He won good matches against difficult clay players such as Paolo Lorenzi and Pablo Cuevas. He showed how efficient his game can be on this surface and how strong he can be mentally when he came back from 4-5 30-0 in his quarterfinals against Cuevas. He only lost to Albert Ramos-Vinolas who played exceptional the whole week beating world number 1 Andy Murray and top 10 player Marin Cilic. After his good performance at Monaco, Lucas is now ranked number 14 in the world, his best ranking in career.
