MERCEDES CUP – STUTTGART

Lucas won his second title of the year (and first one on grass in his career) this weekend in Stuttgart. After a very tough 1st round against Struff where he had to save one match point, he delivered a very solid performances against Kohlschreiber and Paire to reach the final. In the final against Feliciano Lopez who is a reference on grass, he did a perfect match on serve with 29 aces to bring the trophy home. A very positive sign 2 weeks before the start of Wimbledon.
