Lucas reached the 2nd round of Wimbledon this year. He won his first match against Malek Jaziri in 4 sets in a convincing way following his good momentum on grass this season. He lost in the next round to Jerzy Janowicz from Poland. He was not able to deal with his big serve. He left London with disappoint but also a great amount of motivation to begin the hard court season which is coming very soon.
