Lucas played the 1st match in the semifinal against Serbia in Lille. He lost to Lajovic in a 4 sets battle. He saved 5 match points during the last set tie break but it was not enough to take the match to a fifth set. Fortunately, the french team won the 3 next points to qualify to the final and will face Belgium in November.
